Moral Advises Borusan EnBW on Acquisition of Kıyıköy Wind Power Plant
Borusan EnBW Enerji Yatırımları ve Üretim A.Ş. (“Borusan EnBW”) is a leading energy joint-venture company in Turkey which focuses mainly on hydro-electric and wind-powered plants and establishments, established between Borusan Holding A.Ş. (“Borusan”) and EnBW Energie Baden-Württemberg AG (“EnBW”), a leading energy company based in Germany.
Kıyıköy Wind Power Plant (“Kıyıköy WPP”) with a capacity of 28 MW, is a subsidiary of Aksa Energy (“Seller”) a group company of Kazancı Holding. Borusan EnBW and Borusan Danişmanlik ve Ortak Hizmetler A.Ş., a subsidiary of Borusan, (“Buyers”) agreed with the Seller on acquisition of Kıyıköy WPP against a purchase price of USD-38.5mn for the current capacity and a total for USD-60.1mn including the capacity increase. The closing of the Transaction shall be held following approvals of EMRA and Competition Authority.
